Symantec's ACT! 4.0 Chosen 'Best Buy' by Home Computing

CUPERTINO, Calif. - Oct. 5, 1998 -Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq: SYMC), the world leader in utility software for business and personal computing, today announced that ACT! 4.0 earned the coveted Best Buy award from Home Office Computing featured in the October 1998 issue.

The products were evaluated on four criteria including value, performance, ease of use and suitability for home office use.
