Authorized Replicator Program

Symantec Corporation (“Symantec”) has implemented a program to create a network of authorized disc replication and production facilities that can be used to manufacture our product throughout the world. Any facility that legitimately manufactures Symantec product must be included in Symantec’s Authorized Replicator Program.

Symantec’s Global Brand Protection department has identified industry best practices in regard to the protection of Symantec’s intellectual property. These practices are designed to mitigate risk and minimize loss associated to Symantec and its assets.

Acceptance into the program assures that reasonable and documented controls are in place and adhered to by Symantec’s replication and production facilities worldwide. Specifically, in order to join Symantec’s Authorized Replicator Program, each facility must demonstrate that they meet Symantec’s documented Authorized Replicator Eligibility Standards. This may include an on-site security survey conducted on behalf of Symantec. Lastly, each facility must sign a Replicator Agreement with Symantec in order to join Symantec’s Authorized Replicator Program.
