Where can I get more help?
Here are a few pointers. No matter how expert you are, there'll come a time when you can't solve technical problems on your own. Save stress when that happens by knowing who to contact in advance.
Download, print and fill out the My Personal Expert List PDF with key contact details and you won't have to scramble to find the right people if everything does go wrong. Many of these companies will also offer a support web site. While that can be useful, if your PC isn't working it won't be much help - so note the phone number down now, while everything's still functioning! It can also help to have the licence, account numbers, serial numbers, model numbers and receipt numbers if applicable, so we've left space for that too.
While specific problems can be solved by software and hardware vendors, some more general PC problems might require you to call an expert into your home. Ask family and friends for references based on their experiences, or look in the Yellow Pages for a PC repairer.
